Raise your chalice. To Joie de Biére.
It's a hectic world that, often times, we don't take the time to enjoy. So, Stella Artois invites you to savor life's simplest pleasures in their newest experience. For this campaign, we created a full scalable experience for guests to enjoy amazing foods, special brand moments, and a chalice of Stella Artois.
The Heart of Joie de Biére
From the moment guests enter the event, they'll feel as though they have walked right into a small European village; now surrounded by ones of its quaint cafés. Here, in the café, guests will experience elegant small bites, unique and edible experiences, and learn to pour the perfect Chalice of Stella Artois.
Stop and Smell the Beer
Take a moment to stop and enjoy your fresh chalice of Stella Artois. As guests enter the café, they will be greeted by a large floral mural, perfectly constructed for sharing in their live stories or on the feeds.
The Not-So-Quick Selfie
Real craft takes time. That's why, to break up the normal convention of just snapping the quick selfie, we created a portrait artist who does a quick sketch of the guests for them to then take with them, but not before enjoying fun conversation and a Chalice of beer.
The artist will use a smart pen so that guests can have access to his sketches to then make reprints using the mini wireless printer at the event.
Le Plat Du Jour
Life is made up of the choices you make. In this case, they will decide which flavor pairings awaits. One of the first interactive food experiences guests will interact with is the custom charcuterie wall where, depending on the direction they choose to go, they will experience different food flavors and pairings with their beer.
Savor the Words
The best conversations leave a lasting impression on us. And who doesn't love a clever and well crafted poem. The village poet will invite the guests to sit down and engage in a conversation. He will then craft a poem about them based on what they talk about or what he observes.
Savored Souvenirs
Nobody enjoys their chocolate more seriously than the Belgians. So, in honor of this love, we created a chocolatier booth where guests can create a custom box of Belgian chocolates to take home.
Postcards
A tradition in European cafes is to receive a custom postcard with the check at the end of the meal. Thus, we created our own bespoke greeting cards that our guests can take home or mail out to their loved ones.
La Musique
For the lower level tiers, that happen in homes and Airbnb spaces, we created a fun playlist of European style Gypsy Jazz music to play and set the mood for Joie de Biére.
Le Ferme Fraiche
They say simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. Well, something like that. Regardless, sometimes the simplest flavors are the most complex. So we created a fun Ape where guests can pick fresh ingredients and have a chef create a custom croque-monsieur paired with a fresh tossed salad that perfectly pairs with their Stella Artois that they can learn to pour at the nearby pouring station.
Le Fun et Frites
If only we were as adventurous as our own palate. But, thanks to how the Belgians accompanied their frites, we can be. At this integration, guests will get to choose either steak or moules frites that are neatly served in a to-go cone. Each cone has an attached recipe for how to make these delicious frites at home.
Flavors in Bloom
A life full of surprises is a life well lived, and it just so happens that this one pairs perfectly with your chalice of Stella Artois. This unique flower shop interaction allows guests to experience local breeds of flowers while also getting to mingle with the flower shop owner. The shop owner will invite them to water the centerpieces that, when watered, emit a pineapple scented mist that pairs perfectly with your beer. When they are all done, she will give them a special handcrafted lapel pin for them to take home.
Pétanque
A fun and slow paced game that gives guests a chance to enjoy a moment of friendly competition.
